Added a lot new fancy!

It’s been a while since we first released our Sourceress series – and since then a lot has happened SL development wise and own scripting knowledge wise. We’re taking part at August’s round of We?Role-Play event, so it was a great reason to give a new face to our precious #1 as well as to this set #3!

So here’s another Update to “Power of Word” with all sorts of new fancy, updated scripts and updated functionality. Most awesome overhaul: We added more colors to this version.

With version update v1.5, the spell prop allows you to set the flavor by a new structured menu including new color choices: Pick between a Love-Cast in vibrant red, Passion in deep pink and purple hues, Cold Flame in icy blue and turquoise, or the already familiar Fire in ardent orange and gold!

The spell prop allows you to set the glow intensity in 3 levels now along with full-bright on/off option to match its surrounding.

And, compared to previous version, with less prims but same detail!

We’re excited to have a guest spot at “We <3 Role-Play!” this round – and as this was a very shot notice decision, came up with a great UPDATE to our very first set of the Sourceress series, “Summons and Spell”. So if you own the set already, rezz the spell prop and your update will arrive shortly. If you encounter any trouble, please let me know by notecard!

For all who do not own it yet, great news:

Starting August 4th, it will be 50% discounted for all of August 2013, but only at the event location. So don’t miss out!

There will be 2 more or our Sourceress series at a discounted price and possibly updated (if it fits my day schedule tomorrow, so please don’t nail me down on it yet :D). Stay curious, still roling the dice which one they shall be ;D

UPDATE 2.0 to 2.5

Added a lot new fancy!

It’s been a while since we first released our Sourceress series – and since then a lot has happened SL development wise and own scripting knowledge wise. We’re taking part at August’s round of We?Role-Play event, so it was a great reason to give our precious #1 of this series a new face!

So here again a new version of “Summon and Spell” with updated scripts and updated functionality. First overhaul: The spell now uses animated prims to make caming easier between the spheres (this will be of massive value if you shoot images with DoF!).

We also added more colors to this version. You can pick now between the long-known default blue and 4 new colors pink, red, golden and mint. Of course all with matching new particle effects for your model!

Last, we added the ability to turn glow off on all beams, choose between 3 levels of glow intensity, and set full bright on/off.

And then very last, added 3 more new poses :)

The prop contains different menu-driven special effects ranging from different animated prim options to particles, and was created with love for details, fun, and custom textures.

The prims of the energy spheres offer different states, which you can access by menu to add the extra magic to your photoshooting or roleplay experience. To access the menu, click the rat outside the magic circle. Menu offers you the following options:

• choose default sceneries or disable all special effects,
• add particle fog and lost souls, or turn them back off,
• select the states for each special effect separately,
• set permissions who may access the above listed options to anyone, group, or owner only. – Default on rez is set to OWNER ONLY, pose menu is not effected by this selection.

Please keep in mind: To see glow and light, it requires for at least ‘basic shaders’ and ‘nearby local lights’ being enabled in preferences – ‘at least’ cause Windlight is obviously more picture taking fun ;-) )

The spell adjustment menu works with stored prim animation frames – as a result of this you cannot [shift]-copy the spell because it would delete the stored frames and the copy of the prop will not function correctly – if you need multiple copies of the prop, ALWAYS rezz from inventory to ensure it works! Same applies for resetting: If required, rezz a fresh copy from inventory and delete the old one.

ATTACHMENTS:

Sourceress SET 7 -Of Fire and Ice- has been inspired by the horrible amount of snow this year and the wishful dreaming of an open fire place – which I don’t have. *grumbles* So bad for me, but lucky for you, the result is an Elementalist themed magic photoprop visualizing the battle of fire and ice – or if you’re roleplaying in SL, it might find it’s way into a permanent part of your RP character’s ritual room, who knows.

The magic yin yang spell is surrounded by menu-driven energy swirls, a sculpted book, snowflakes and blazing fire with animated textures.

The prims of the magic spheres offer different states for fire and ice, which you can access by menu to add the extra magic to your photoshooting or roleplay experience. To access the menu, click the book lying on the ground. Menu offers you the following options:

• choose default sceneries or disable all special effects,
• add snow particles, or turn them back off,
• select the state of the spell’s magic spheres: choose individual sizes for fire and ice spell effects
• set permissions who may access the above mentioned options to anyone, group, or owner only. – Default on rez is set to OWNER ONLY, pose menu is not effected by this selection.

Please keep in mind: To see glow and light, it requires for at least ‘basic shaders’ and ‘nearby local lights’ being enabled in preferences – ‘at least’ cause Windlight is obviously more picture taking fun ;-) )

*ANIMATED PRIMS:

Please do not change the attachment point from left hand – due to the poses, the animation is very dynamic in its positioning, and will not work properly (or you need to move it around a lot) if it is attached to another point on the avatar.

The magic pentagram is surrounded by menu-driven energy swirls, glowing grass patches and sculpted daisies and snails.

The prims of the magic spheres offer different states which you can access by menu and will add the extra magic to your photoshooting or roleplay experience. To access the menu, click one of the single daisy blossoms lying outside of the circle (high prim version has one on each side of the pentagram for easier access, the LP version only one). Menu offers you the following options:

• add ground effect of hide ground – make sure to lower the pentagram slightly into the floor for correct display of the soft slopes,
• show or hide the flexi grass between the daisies,
• add soap bubble particles, or turn them back off,
• select the state of the spell’s magic sphere – it is set up in two parts, and both can be set to low or high, or tuned off, you can as well turn both at the same time on or off,
• set permissions who may access the above mentioned options to anyone, group, or owner only. – Default on rez is set to OWNER ONLY, pose menu is not effected by this selection.
