*** BURLESQUE ***

HOUSE OF HEARTSDALE & THE RUNWAY CAFE PRESENT BURLESQUE ~
a unique and exciting show based on a brand new concept ~
a fusion of fashion with theatre.

The show will feature some of Second Life’s top fashion models performing famous songs from movies such as Burlesque, Cabaret, Moulin Rouge and Sweet Charity.

A total of 6 designers including: Blacklace, !dm deviousMind, Hugo’s Design, INSOLENCE, Lady Thera and Mon Cheri will be participating in this event, which will feature custom built set designs, choreography, and special effects in a way never before seen in Second Life.

Animations will be provided by MyANIMATION (who are creating dances specifically for this show), Animazoo and Vista Animations.

The show will run for 3 days in January 2012:

WEDNESDAY 25TH JANUARY – 1 PM SLT
FRIDAY 27TH JANUARY – 2 PM SLT
SATURDAY 28TH JANUARY – 3PM SLT

Sponsors of the show include: BOSL, Maniera, Icon and Too Sexy Magazines, with media coverage including print, radio and TV. A video is being produced which will be available on You Tube.

As most of you know already, I was able to successfully capture a christmas elf last year which was found lurking around deviousMind sim. We had our fun and playtime, anyhow long story short, in the end could strike out a deal for some early xMas present deliveries (Blackmailing Santa’s Elf with possibly sending the photos to the Boss did prove rather efficient!).

Turns out, said elf is some sort of Chief Elf Christmas Executive (in short: CECE) at the company now, so it’s just reasonable to assume that last year’s blackmailing practice will be even more successfully this year! *evilgrin* So same as the past season, you will find a little mailbox at deviousMind waiting for your wishlist!

You turn your notecard in by dropping it into the mailbox right above the fireplace at (*chanimations main theater stage. Unfortunately my schedule varies dramatically this year, so the deadline will be fluctuating slightly every day – I’ll empty the mailbox between NOON SLT (12pm) and 3pm SLT though.

The winner is drawn each day from all notecards received. Once entered, your notecard will be part of the drawing each day until christmas. Of course unless you won something, then you’re out :-) Everybody can win only once.

We’d like to say a huge contrats to Majik for finding the 5000L giftcard joker gift! Apparently she’s had the right intuition while clicking around prims in the sim, or simply massive luck :-D

Now the good news:

Since it didn’t take all too long that the first joker was discovered (yes, I did indeed say ‘first’ :D) we have decided to throw out another few of them in the upcoming weeks of our hunt! There will be multiple more giftcards slipped into the sim from time to time – join our Update Group if you’d like to be informed when they are released to the sim (and of course to get the info when they are found).   Good luck to all in finding one of them!

Where are all our precious things?!

There has been a strange commotion this night at deviousMind sim, excited voices everywhere, press, flashlights… the exact circumstances are not quite certain; it might be, that the busy chiefs of police are too involved in investigations to issue a statement. It would seem, that all residents of said sim, so far known as a peaceful place, are still in shock about the deed of crime – or in possession of a knowledge they are not willing to share.

At any rate, investigations are going on. And help of everybody is needed.

So it is official:

deviousHunt 2011

starting at July 29th, 2011 until August 14th, 2011
at deviousMind sim!

This hunt is a collaboration of all our resident stores and you will find gifts from each of these:

(*chanimations, !dM deviousMind, Cupcakes & Poetry and our newest family member Captain’s Quarters!

A few of you “old timers” might be excited to hear that Captain’s Quarters and its super-talented creator Nathalia Parisi come finally back to the grid – and for those who don’t know this store from the past yet, you’re in for a treat of amazing furniture and prefabs and anything else that makes living in prims desireable.

And it wouldn’t be our crazy cupcake lady “as we know her”, if Elise Capalini from Cupcakes & Poetry hadn’t spent nights and nights in her bakery building to create you the perfectly sweet devious cake gift there could possibly be… but not telling yet :-D I’ll leave her the honor!

Of course there is also glam and feathers to be had with a new burlesque gift from !dM deviousBeauty and last but not least, something for your pose-stand by (*chanimations photography props and poses.

(of course, I will keep you updated in the next few days with all the news and snapshots for things you can hunt these two weeks)

The Joker Gift!

Somewhere in the sim (and trust me, it can be huge if you’re looking for something) will be exactly one big prize hidden – so if you’re lucky and with the right amount of intuition, you will be the new proud owner of a 5000,- L$ giftcard for (*chanimations and deviousMind soon!

The box will be different than the other hunt items, and I’ll do my best to make it as un-obvious as I can *evilgrin*. It wouldn’t be a joker if it was easy to find after all! ;-D

Every day that the joker has not been found, I will release a new hint to it’s location until one happy “sim chief investigator” disovers it! Good luck to you all! :-)

Lucky chairs went Summer-Time!

Good news for all who weren’t able to grab some of our gifts last year: Our lucky chairs got refilled and bring you summer-y little things for photoshootings, your home and your avatar :-)

So for this summer season, you’ll find the following things with just a little bit of luck – or a friend’s TP right when you letter posps up (we all know how it goes :-D):

• (*chanimations “SingBird” props&pose set (see above) includes a highly detailed canary cage and 3 poses,
• (*chanimations “A retro-Valentines” has been in the chair since Valentine’s day, but how could I take out THE typical photo set for the “Summer of Love” ;-)
• !dM DiamondLingerie in Absinth has been available as well since Carneval – but the fresh lime color just can’t be missing during this summer, especially since it matches this weeks lemon&lime gift so perfectly :-D
• And in addition to both pose sets in the chairs, you could win a larger canary cage with 3 birds as additional decor for your photo shooting set,
• or a sunflower vase that allows for different sunflower options and vase colors.

And as usual… there’s a good chance or or the other new thing will find it’s way into the chair ;-)
