With FetishCabaret set 25, we decided to continue our feather-set-saga and bring you something glamorous again to spice up your burlesque performances with the first feather fan couple pose set! As this is a couple-pose set that has no rezzed props involved, we tried to think of a way to make it most versatile for you without only giveing you some poseballs and say “do it yourself” – the result is a box which includes everything for you to pick what’s most convenient to you! *grins*

You will find the following alternatives to pose yourselves included:
• multiPoseball,
• multiPosestand,
• pre-setup of couple poses in a stage deco object
(included as touch-menu object as well as chat-menu if you plan to make the swans invisible!)

Pose balls and stands will require you to do the full work of arranging your models, with the advantage that you as the photographer can control and move them around however you wish. The pre-setup was created with convenience in mind, and for those of you who use the prop as part of their burlesque performances. It has a total of 12 possible couple combinations stored – and that’s not even all that would be possible with the set, so please get creative – it’s fun!

All 3 of these alternatives respond to /1 hide and /1 show if you want them out of the picture.

-WildThing- is clearly not for everybody – but it’s a erotic-filled MUST-HAVE for anybody interested in any fetish and D/s aspect of picture taking! …Or a good tease *giggles*

IMPORTANT:
Please test the cages beforehand, to ensure it will work in a desired way with your shape. This set is a very complex arrangement of avatar and prop that requires precision, and likely a little patience when adjusting the avatar with the bars – use the included multiPoseball instead of the pose-engine in the prop if you feel this makes adjustment easier! The set is built to cage the avatar in very tightly, and cages are provided in 3 sizes to assist fitting avatars from small to very tall. But a few different aspects will determine perfect fitting, like length of torso, legs and arms – so even if you are a small avatar, you might find the medium works better for you. If you are perfectionist with short patience, sadly this set is not for you.

DETAILED INFORMATION

Included in this set are both cages for the floor or hanging on chains from the ceiling (hanging cages don’t offer the ‘bendOver’ pose as it would be not logical). Each of these comes in 3 sizes from small to large and include color-change options as well as option to open/close the top gate and lock. The pose-menu marks poses that go with the open gate as ‘/name’ and those with closed gate with ‘_name’ as a little visual help to indicate the open / and closed _ state! Most will be possible to use with either state of the gate though, so we’re leaving it up to you and your creativity to decide which one you like better.

The control menu for color and gate is placed in the top metal plate (the frame that holds the opening gate) and allows you to pick between metal, steel and aluminum appearance. ‘Options’ menu allows you to set permissions who may control the control menu besides you, it allows for owner only, group, or public use. Rezzing default of permission is OWNER. – The use of the pose-engine is not effected by this selection. All scripts run in MONO.

The pose engine is placed in the root prim (the base plate), so clicking on any other part of the cage will open up selection dialog to pick your pose.

Additional chain prims are included in case you like to hand it on longer chains from the ceiling – this is a do-it-yourself process :-D

*CAGE GATE:
————

The gate opens with stored prim animation frames – as a result of this please take note that you cannot [shift]-copy the cage, as this process will delete the stored frames and you will not be able to open the top gate anymore – if you need multiple copies of the prop, ALWAYS rezz from inventory to ensure it works! Same applies for resetting. If required, rezz a fresh copy from inventory and delete the old one.

ADJUSTMENT OF POSES with /1a:
————————————

On first sit please note the messages in open chat – once sitting, either use included gesture with hot-key [F10] (the gesture is mod, so you can change the key) or speak /1a in open channel for the adjustment menu to open (both will only work if sitting on the prop).

‘Postion’ will allow you to move your avartar more forward, backwards, left or right (X and Y axis) and of course up and down (Z axis), if needed ‘Rotation’ menu gives you more options for your adjustment.

The script remembers the avartar custom settings of its 100 most frequent users who adjusted their positions as long as the cage stays rezzed.

*HOT-KEY?
———–

You’ve never worked with gestures? It’s easy, go into inventory and right click it, then select ‘activate’ in the context menu. Once activated, just press F10 key and the adjustment menu will open up if you sit on any of our (*chanimations props using this feature! Typing /adjustPose in chat will have the same effect, SL chat bar will auto-complete the command after the first few characters typed if it recognizes it being an active gesture. The gesture is mod, so you can change hot-key or command to whatever is easier for you, just double-click on the gesture in inventoy to open it.

PHOTOGRAPHER?
——————

To make it easier on photographers who work with models (or if you don’t want to adjust poses through a menu), a multiPoseballs is included. This way you can freely move your model yourself instead of ‘instructing them’ where to place their avartar. The multiPoseball responds to /1 show and /1 hide and allows to toggle the poses by using the pageUp/pageDown keys.

And as with everything scripted: Make sure you are in a sim that allows for scripts to run!

*ATTACHMENTS:

The cuffs are non-scripted and pure picture props with a resize option to adjust fitting. Please take note, they are build on minimum size already and cannot be made smaller; read included notecard on information of the resize script used. The attachments are not required with the prop – it’s a purely decorative element that doesn’t correspond to the cage in terms of ‘connection points’ or the like. They allow transfer, so can pass them to your model – or if you’re unsure they’ll give them back, rezz instead and position them.

If you have problems with sculpties seeming rough edged and not properly rezzing – go to Advanced Menu (if it doesn’t show on the top bar, press CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-D to show it), Debug Setting… – type ‘RenderVolumeLODFactor’ (without quotes) and set it to 4.000. It will take a short moment and your sculpties will render smoother when looking at them from a distance! Search the Wiki if you want more info about the RenderVolumeLODFactor.

DETAILED INFORMATION

Included in this set are both an ornamented chair and a low prim (LP) version. The color menu is placed in the wooden curve line that runs along the full top of the back cushion – this way you don’t accidentially click it the whole time, but it is still easily accessible from the front and the back of the chair.

Depending on your personal taste or surrounding, the chair includes a texture change menu to choose between red, dark-red and golden cushion material or a dark leather cushioning. ‘Options’ menu allows you to set permissions who may control the color menu besides you, it allows for owner only, group, or public use. Rezzing default of permission is OWNER. – The use of the pose-engine is not effected by this selection. All scripts of the chair run in MONO.

MENU, DOM. und SUB. POSES:

When sitting on the pose prop, it will sit you down ‘on the next available spot’, so you don’t need to sit on a specific prim; just know that the dominant poses (which are designed so they can be used as well as single person poses without need of a second person) are found in the sitting cushion of the chair, the submissive poses are in the base wood part right under the sitting cushion.

Pose-Menu and Adjustment-Menu for both is accessed when clicking on the large back cushioning of the chair, or optionally opened by chat-command /1a or /1m.

ADJUSTMENT OF POSES:

On first sit please note the message in open chat – as well, a menu pops up allowing you to pick which pose you’d like. Once sitting, chat /1m or click the back cushion of the chair to access the menu when it’s closed.

It’s been a bit more than a year now since our first poses and the beginning of our little venture named ‘deviousMind’ – it’s been a tough year with a lot of work and the usual moments of questioning “what am I even doing here in SL” – so this is the time to thank you all so very much for every single feedback you gave in return, every little compliment, every suggestion, every little smile about what we created and for every picture you shared with the (*chanimations pool on flickr. You all along with your reactions to deviousMind were what made this adventure worth it, and who motivated going on. An especially big thank you with tons of hugs and kisses is for my partner Lucca, who was always here with support, suggestions, recommendations and most important – his honesty, if I liked it or not. <3

2009 has been a tough year for many of us, needless to say, the economy and overall situation in the world didn’t help easing that. Regardless, we’ve made it through – so now’s the time to welcome a new year with new plans, new energy and new inspirations.

Happy New Year 2010 to all of you, may all your wishes come true!

With this new year, our beauty vanity of (*FC SET 14 “CabaretBeauty” received an overall update too :-D aside from the regualar vanity version you know already, an ornamented vanity was added – a bit more feminine, softer, more curvy… but still keeping it’s original charme and character. (see in the above picture) Make sure you get your free upgrade if you have the old version already, simply rezz a new vanity or say /12update in open chat next to the rezzed vanity. After a few minutes you’ll receive your upgrade box!

And last… the moving of all couture items into deviousBeauty building lefthand of the park gate at deviousMind/73/88/33 is finished – so you’ll find all pure copy/no transfer couture and accessories items in this new building. If the clothing items are in direct connection to any of our props and poses items, you’ll find a little hint as well – and vice versa, we will mark all props&poses sets of (*chanimations to indicate there is an addition in our beauty section available. All our photography props and poses sets are found in the (*chanimations theater, cabaret and circus tent – those are in general copy/no trans for all rezzable props and poses, and transfer/no copy for the attachments so you can pass them to your models (except personal/extended edition sets of “PekingOpera” which include hair/skin, a photographer edition is available though as well).

One thing that’s important to us is versatility in our items – and with that, you might find some things included in the photo set, that you wouldn’t expect usually (like skin or hair for example) – so make sure to always read our info notecards before purchase. They contain all details on properties, exact content and/or any added information that is needed. – And last, as the question has come up: The photography sets don’t include any clothing other than accessories (these things are listed in the content notecard of each set, like gloves, hat, bustle and the like) – full outfits can’t really be considered a prop, and after all, each of you likes to add their personal touch to their pictures as well, so that’s what all of SL’s clothing designers are for :-D – If you’d like to know a specific item I used in our ads, drop me a message, I’ll hint you where to find it!

Originally named “Vain an’ Loving it!!!” and inspired through a commission work for Vain Inc as appreciation gift for their magazine’s inworld group, the set has expanded a little and got it’s ‘official release’ feathers – Peacock of course, after all, we’re speaking vain here! *grins wide*

You can choose between three different peacock color options, **VAIN PEACOCK** (which is their natural golden green color), **BLACK PEACOCK** (a new feathercolor, yay!) or **SNOW PEACOCK** (which you know from our winterburlesque series) — or you can get all three colors in one go with our VanityDeluxe ***triColor pack

DETAILED INFORMATION (please read!)

We’ve taken it upon ourselves to visualize **VAIN** for you – with just a little bit of nothingness, and that as precious as can be: DiamondLingerie with little feather ornaments on hips and chest, and a gorgeous featherboa, to perfectly frame and show off those vain curves – and not to forget those peacock feathers.

You will find underwear layers as well as pants/shirt layers of our diamond lingerie included in case you like to match it up with other clothing layers – no need to wear both! The shape of the feather boa matches all included poses, only thing you migh need to do is move it a little up or down, but once it fits one pose, it will as well all others. All feathers are digitally illustrated – so no fuzzy halos or edges and only 100% feather goodness ;-)

And of course, you’ll need a handmirror for utmost vanity! *smirks* If you click the BeautyMirror, it will function as a soft facelight. (Only if ‘nearby local lights’ are enabled in preferences and ‘render attached lights’ in Advanced menu!)

The set includes the poses as single animations, in case you like to put them into your own posestands, as well as in a multiPoseball which responds to /1 show and /1 hide and allows the model to toggle through all poses by using the pageUp/pageDown keys.

And as with everything scripted: Make sure you are in a sim that allows for scripts to run!
