I started to update some of our older (*chanimations releases to stay up to date with changes in SL and of course the natural development of our brand as both sets were created and 2009 – and did kinda have that SL-vintage touch to them ;D

AUTOMATIC UPDATE

Please make sure to get your updates if you purchased the set before September 5th, 2011:

(*chanimations “CabaretBeauty” (FetishCabaret SET 14)

Simply rez the beauty vanity in a sim that allows scripts to run, and a few seconds later you should get automatically an object message that it is checking for update. This message can lag out sometimes, so if you don’t want to wait (or if you have a copy of the vanity rezzed in your sim), just type /12update in open chat near the object and it triggers the call manually.

Short info what changed:

To keep on the same level with our new photostage release “La Burlesque”, we’ve added a color menu to the beauty vanity to let you switch between the richly ornamented dark wood shades used in this new stage, and the lighter wood we used in our “FetishCabaret” photostage. The photo menu includes a grey screen as well now.

We’ve also kicked out the very first “April 2009″ basic prim version (picture left) from the pack completely and shuffled prims around so the new LP version has the same prim count, but looks so much better of course. (Go figure, so much has changed since 2009 ;D) The stand alone lights for the ornamented version are still included in case you decide to add them at a later point to your LP version – this way you don’t loose any stored positions on the vanity.

Oh.. we tossed two more poses into the vanity as well! so with all those changes, the set got a new vendor picture on top of it all. ;)

MANUAL UPDATES

(*chanimations – “Circus” Photostage

The photostage was renamed to match the name patterns of our newer stages (admittedly, that’s more of an inventory sorting thing than really important ;D) and is now called (*chanimations Photostage: “VintageCircus” and it got some overall change in the wall structure. Originally the build was intended as a pure skybox so outside didn’t matter. Turns out, people rezzed it on ground anyhow so I felt the need to change the outside look to less of a prim mess ;D

The photostage was one of our first things so it’s been WAY before we used update scripts. So if you have the old version and would like to receive the updated one, please get in touch with us by notecard. We need to know the approximate date you got the item – even better is transaction history information cause it makes it easier for me to cross check with the old files. Please add to the notecard as well, if you got the stage inworld or at the marketplace. History info is fairly easy to be gotten for marketplace/Xstreet purchases, but likely you’re having a harder time to have it from inworld any more – in that case, right-click the stage in inventory and select properties, you will find the date the item was acquired (that’s the unpacking from box date, purchase date would likely be the date of your first box)

Needless to say, a classy wine and cocktail bar was missing so far in our FetishCabaret series – so here it comes! Only our classy bar is “classy burlesque” of course to capture the mood appropriately: Elegant wood surfaces, golden metal poles, sculpted wine bottles on a shelf with mirror wall – and let’s not forget the lovingly decorated lemontray. After serving your drink, those bar ladies like to hop on the counter themselves to be your cocktail, or give a classic poledance for the night’s entertainment. And cause one would be only half the fun, there’s room for two. Happy hour guaranteed!

PLEASE TAKE NOTE so there is no confusion: it’s a photography prop with static poses and no animated dances.

-HappyHour- comes with color menu to choose between dark and lighter wood (matching our “FetishCabaret” and “La Burlesque” photostages), and a special menu to assist in taking pictures for post-processing mirror effects. (please see further down)

DETAILS ABOUT THE SET
======================

We have included 3 different versions of the bar to match all prim needs – shown on the ad image is CabaretBar with high details. The version is marked in the object name with “highDetail” (74 prims), “LP” (low prim, 36 prims) and without any addition is the normal one (58 prims).

COLOR and POSE MENU:
—————————-

There are three areas you need to know about to access the menus easily.

POSE menu #1 is placed in the root prim – the persion sitting first will likely have this spot (unless they sit directly on the prim for menu #2). Any click on the bar will open the pose selection menu for the girl sitting occupying this spot.

POSE menu #2 is in the back counter (the one that has the lemons and champaign on it). Even if you are the first person using the prop, you can sit directly on spot #2 if you target the back counter prim to sit.

The COLOR menu, as well as menu to turn light on/off (only if ‘nearby local lights’ are enabled in preferences), use the postprocessing effects and to set permissions is placed in the mirror wall of the bar.

Color choices are the following, matching the wood used in our (*chanimations photostages:

• light wood,
• dark wood,
• dark wood ornamented.

ATTACHMENTS:

All attachments come with ‘transfer’ setting so you can pass them to your model – or if you’re unsure they’ll give them back to you, rezz them instead and position them.

The cocktail glasses match a few poses, so we’ve added a few extras – have fun getting creative :)

PHOTOGRAPHY-EXTRA:
————————

The ’special trick’ for this set – Equally to FetishCabaret SET 14 “CabaretBeauty”, I added you a little gimmick to help you prepare your shots if you plan to create a mirror reflection using graphic programms for picture post-processing. To make the steps required to create a reflection easier on you, the mirror glass has a touch script included that will set the BACK of it to transparent or solid on click. The surface lets you pick a grey background, greenScreen or blueScreen.

If you rezz the bar in public places, it’s strongly adviced to set permissions who may use the mirror-menu (owner, group, everybody) so you don’t find the bar in all these bright colors from random people’s clicking every time you log in :D

TAKE NOTE: The ability to use the poses and sit options in the bar are NOT affected by this setting, it is only for the mirror menu.

“Something’s in the air…”

No cabaret would be complete without at least one hottie on a swing. So we made you a burlesque fancy one, filled it up with a bunch of sexy pinUp poses and gave it playful elegance with its matching style to our CarouselHorse and ZebraRide sets by adding those familiar twisted poles (or let’s say, it’s ribbons in this case) and wooden roses. And of course many, many color options :D All in all just the last piece that was missing for your perfect little pin up world of sexiness.

Something new, something old…

Sneak-Preview from the deviousBeauty working desk… got a little excited how it’s turning out so far, so couldn’t resist to share – well, trying to not reveal ALL the details quite yet so you’ll have to enjoy this smokey vintage movie strip type treatment ;-) (reminds me, I should post a picture tuturial again too, shouldn’t I :-D)

Anyway, trying to finish the new costume until the weekend just trying to decide what colors it should get besides black!

DETAILED INFORMATION (please read!)

ADJUSTMENT OF POSES with /1a:
————————————

On first sit please note the messages in open chat – once sitting, either use included gesture with hot-key [F10] (the gesture is mod, so you can change the key) or speak /1a in open channel for the adjustment menu to open (both will only work if sitting on the prop).

‘Postion’ will allow you to move your avartar more forward, backwards, left or right (X and Y axis) and of course up and down (Z axis), if needed ‘Rotation’ menu gives you more options for your adjustment.

The script remembers the avartar custom settings of its 100 most frequent users who adjusted their positions as long as the set stays rezzed.

*HOT-KEY?
———–

You’ve never worked with gestures? It’s easy, go into inventory and right click it, then select ‘activate’ in the context menu. Once activated, just press F10 key and the adjustment menu will open up if you sit on any of our (*chanimations props using this feature! Typing /adjustPose in chat will have the same effect, SL chat bar will auto-complete the command after the first few characters typed if it recognizes it being an active gesture. The gesture is mod, so you can change hot-key or command to whatever is easier for you, just double-click on the gesture in inventoy to open it.

PHOTOGRAPHER?
——————

To make it easier on photographers who work with models (or if you don’t want to adjust poses through a menu), a multiPoseball (1 PRIM) is included, as well as a multiPosestand (4 PRIMS). This way you can send your models afk and freely move them yourself instead of ‘instructing them’ where to place their avartar.

While the posestand navigates you through the poses with arrow buttons, the multiPoseball needs to be triggerd by the one sitting on it and toggles the poses by using the pageUp/pageDown keys. Both multiPoseball and multiPosestand respond to /1 show and /1 hide to turn them invisible.

And as with everything scripted: Make sure you are in a sim that allows for scripts to run!

All attachments for our photoprops allow transfer, so can pass them to your model – or if you’re unsure they’ll give them back, rezz instead and position them.

The table includes an update script, which will check for free upgrades when it is rezzed – to not loose the information of your adjusted poses through rezzing, you can call for the update manually by typing “/12update” (without quotes) in open chat. (You have to rezz only one of the tables to receive the update, no need to do it with all included versions).

If you have problems with sculpties seeming rough edged and not properly rezzing – go to Advanced Menu (if it doesn’t show on the top bar, press CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-D to show it), Debug Setting… – type ‘RenderVolumeLODFactor’ (without quotes) and set it to 4.000. It will take a short moment and your sculpties will render smoother when looking at them from a distance! Search the Wiki if you want more info about the RenderVolumeLODFactor.
