Goth is timeless, Punk’s not dead. So this is our devious crossover mix (we’re pretty good at that anyhow) of glamPunk gothBurlesque with sexy leopard flavor :D

The costume is available at deviousBeauty in **ONYX**, **PEARL**, **CANARY**, **TANGERINE**, **RED**, **PINK**, **PURPLE**, **BLUE**, **MINT** and **KIWI** and of course if you can’t decide which one to go for (or the ultimate mix-and-match fun!!) as well as a **COLOR PACK** including a bonus color **BLOODRED**.

For “Mizz SexKitten”, we took a good portion of gothic romance with large, gorgeous roses, paired it with a tease of leopard laced lingerie and spiced it up with a spike studded underbust corset with latex rubber and leopard print and a chained choker around your neck. Not to forget the different bustles ranging from mini to impressive and roses for your hair.

The spiked underbust mesh corset comes in 4 sizes (XS, S, M and L) based on the standard sizing system and is made of vibrant colored leopard print with satin closing in front and black latex stripe accents. The corset comes with matching rose pasties and 5 different attachment options for bustles and a fitting chained and padlocked belt around the waist! The eclectic mix of color and black leopard net adds a very unique style mix to your inventory and will allow you to set the flavor of your styling as either plain sexkitten leopard lingerie or with all it’s attachment choices direct it towards goth romance, glamor punk, visual kei, or neo burlesque!

For clothing layers, you will find leopard stockings and armwraps, satin panties and laced bra with matching appliers for Lolas Tango (these will work on Lush as well, I learned!) and a low garterbelt as well as high-waisted garter option. Armwraps can be worn with optional lace attachments held by metalbands around the upper arm. A locked chain choker wraps around your neck, decorated with lace and roses, different styles of hair flowers, and a vibrant colored leopard makeup to round the glamorous styling off.

Delirium is the youngest of the Seven Endless, yet still older than the rest of existence. One of her eyes is silver-flecked blue, and the other is green. Her hair changes style and color constantly, as do her clothes. Her shadow never reflects her shape, and is tangible, like velvet. She is said to smell of sweat, late nights, sour wine, and old leather. Her realm is a chaotic, constantly changing mass of colors and strange objects and shapes. She may even appears as hundreds of colorful fishes.

…and she stepped out of The Dreaming right onto the grid.

Delirium is the first of a series of fanart I am planning to create surrounding “The Endless” by Neil Gaimann, which, to my surprise, appears to be unfamiliar to most on the grid. Read up on her at wikipedia if you like!

The underbust mesh corset comes in 4 sizes (XS, S, M and L) based on the standard sizing system and is made of vibrant colors in a latex-like rainbow scale. The corset comes with matching attachment options for a little miniSkirt bustle or long skirt tail option, just ruffles and ornaments, or if you would like to go all out on the abstract, a fluffy cloud wrapping around your hips with rainbow fish and butterflies surrounding it – and not to forget the softly floating flexi tails to go with it! The eclectic mix of color and black ripped net adds a very unique style mix to your inventory, with a hint of punk, a touch of visual kei, and a lot of neo burlesque tease!

Delirium comes as well with rainbow boots in 3 rigged mesh sizes as well as one unrigged version with resize options for a perfect fit. For clothing layers, you will find patchwork stockings and netted armwraps, an asymetric net top with matching appliers for Lolas Tango (these will work on Lush as well, I learned!) and little black satin string panties. She likes to impress, so to make a point Delirium brings her spiked metal bands along as well, for upper arms, wrists, upper thigh and knee and not to forget a spiked metal collar with bow and butterfly in 3 colors to pick from. Add eyeshadow in vibrant rainbow hues and an impressive headpiece with rainbow fish and butterflies, optionally with or without flexi laces.

Of course she wouldn’t go out without her favorite fish on a leash, either! All in all, you’ll have fun unpacking this one – please find all details of content after the content listing. ;)

This is not a very big update, but one definitely needed one!

Girls, I can’t believe you let me have this costume out for over a year and nobody ever pointed out that I forgot to make the root in the headdress invisible :D Anyhow, I fixed this now so it’s not going through the forehead when turning it with hairstyles. As a goodie for the pain this may have caused to those who DID notice, I made a new mirrored version of the headdress in each plain and sugar and tossed that into the box.

AND of course appliers for Lolas Tango as well as some new ruffles to deal with those too ;) Btw, I learned Lolas appliers will also work if you have Lush breasts :) So double-enjoy!

All vendors in the sim and marketplace listing have been updated with these additional pieces as well.

And as usually: a new update checker, please delete the old one and replace it with the one included in this box. (Version number is written in the properties’ description field; right-click the item in inventory, select properties! Or when rezzed, you find it in the line underneath the object name)

This is a medium update – none of the core costume pieces have changed, but we’ve added a babydoll dress version and also replaced all resize scripts to be single prim scripts which allow as well stretching into one direction now! Enjoy :)

On popular demand, you will find appliers for Lolas Tango mesh breasts added as well. Please take note, the appliers will work only for these and none of the older mesh/prim tits out there ;) Also new is a set of tassels to fit Lolas shape.

So if you own the set, rezz the update checker and say “/12update” (without quotes) in open chat for it to connect faster to the update server.

This little creamy number is going to make somebody’s day special – I promise!

Each round of gameplay rewards you with one random color – in total, the GACHA has 10 possible flavors for you to win (7 commons and 3 rares) at deviousBeauty!

Fashion for Life 2013 has been helping to raise funds and awareness on behalf of RELAY FOR LIFE of the American Cancer Society – and I venture to say, this year has been another great success!

Unfortunately I had been sick the past weeks which slowed me down pretty hard with anything SL and made me miss most of the scheduled events that took place – but to make the blog posts complete, I decided to toss some pictures of my last donation outfit for Fashion for Life 2013 still up, although the fair has of course closed already.

This has been such a wonderful event with amazings builds, and to be honest, 1 week is just too short! I’ll post some Epilogue eventually when I have a bit more time to pretty up all the pictures I took in these amazing sims!

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon

And of course I don’t want to send you off without some fancy pics of this amazing sim built by Patch Thibaud!

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon were one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one of the wonders that may have been purely legendary. They were purportedly built in the ancient city-state of Babylon, near present-day Al Hillah, Babil province, in Iraq.

The gardens were attributed to the Neo-Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II, who ruled between 605 and 562 BC. He is reported to have constructed the gardens to please his homesick wife Amytis of Media, who longed for the plants of her homeland. The gardens were said to have been destroyed by several earthquakes after the 2nd century BC and are documented by ancient Greek and Roman writers, including Strabo, Diodorus Siculus, and Quintus Curtius Rufus. However, no cuneiform texts describing the Hanging Gardens are extant, and no definitive archaeological evidence concerning their whereabouts has been found.

Ancient writers describe the possible use of an Archimedes screw-like process to irrigate the terraced gardens. Estimates based on descriptions of the gardens in ancient sources say the Hanging Gardens would have required a minimum amount of 8,200 gallons (37,000 litres) of water per day. Nebuchadnezzar II is reported to have used massive slabs of stone, a technique not otherwise attested in Babylon, to prevent the water from eroding the ground.

So while it may be a myth, I can say for sure: !dM deviousMind felt very at home in the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and would move in there any time again :D

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon wouldn’t be the same without that little bird of paradise – so “Lady Vayne” got a new tint and contributes to Fashion for Life in this new amazing lilac color. I’m sure once you see the amazing sim build, you’ll agree. And maybe find her strutting those feathers all proudly somewhere in those lush gardens, too.
