Sourceress SET 4 -Exorcism- is structured in multiple layers – it can be used as one-person pose prop, couple-pose set or if you have more magic followers at hand, with the “Outer Circle” of another 10 people assisting in the summoning. Or maybe it’s even gonna become part of the ritual room for your RP character – who knows.

DETAILED INFORMATION REGARDING CONTENT
=====================================

The exorcism altar is surrounded by magic energy swirls, and decorated with different ritual paraphenalia, pentagrams, skulls and candles. All candles are created with digitally drawn particle flames – no transparency halos or unreal-looking fire but exactly that flickering you’d expect to see!

And there might be even a rat or two peeking out between the old parchments and books, and heavy chains are hanging down from the massive stone surface. Along with the change of exorcist poses, the prims of the exorcism altar are animated and will add the extra magic to your photoshooting or roleplay experience. Optional you can use an alter with additional “Outer Circle” – summoning space for 10 people, allowing them all to change places and individually adjust the height of their position by /1a command.

Beyond that, depending on your personal taste or light surrounding, you have the following additional options when clicking the top parchment roll which lies lefthand on the altar surface (the one that shows the exorcism illustration):
• add particles to the spellcasting of the outer circle, or turn them back off
• select the positioning of the chains – they can be either hanging down to go with the groundSit ‘victim’ poses, or lying up on the altar to tie the possessed person down for a bit more drama (3 presets are offered at this point to allow small to tall AVies to reach the cuffs – additional pose-adjustment will likely be required through /1a menu)
• set permissions who may access the above mentioned options to anyone, group, or owner only. – Default on rez is set to OWNER ONLY.

Please keep in mind: To see glow and light, it requires for at least ‘basic shaders’ and ‘nearby local lights’ being enabled in preferences – ‘at least’ cause Windlight is obviously more picture taking fun ;-) )

*ANIMATED PRIMS:

The spell and chain adjustment menu works with stored prim animation frames – as a result of this please take note that you cannot [shift]-copy the altar, as this process will delete the stored frames and the prop will not function anymore correctly – if you need multiple copies of the prop, ALWAYS rezz from inventory to ensure it works! Same applies for resetting. If required, rezz a fresh copy from inventory and delete the old one.

*NO POSEBALLS:
——————–

The pose engine for the exorcist is placed in the altar (root prim), all poses for the possessed victim are in the pentagram drawing on the altar surface. To change poses, click these prims respectively again.

If you are using the version with OuterCircle, you will find the pose for the 10 spellcasters in the large floor prim swirl – clicking this prim a second time will allow to swap positions. When first sitting on the base, it will fill up spot 1-10, but if you want to sit on a specific other spot, you can select the position in the menu to whichever one you like/need.

ADJUSTMENT OF POSES with /1a:
————————————

On first sit please note the messages in open chat – once sitting, either use included gesture with hot-key [F10] (the gesture is mod, so you can change the key) or speak /1a in open channel for the adjustment menu to open (both will only work if sitting on the prop).

‘Postion’ will allow you to move your avartar more forward, backwards, left or right (X and Y axis) and of course up and down (Z axis), if needed ‘Rotation’ menu gives you more options for your adjustment.

The script remembers the avartar custom settings of its 100 most frequent users who adjusted their positions as long as the cage stays rezzed.

*HOT-KEY?
———–

You’ve never worked with gestures? It’s easy, go into inventory and right click it, then select ‘activate’ in the context menu. Once activated, just press F10 key and the adjustment menu will open up if you sit on any of our (*chanimations props using this feature! Typing /adjustPose in chat will have the same effect, SL chat bar will auto-complete the command after the first few characters typed if it recognizes it being an active gesture. The gesture is mod, so you can change hot-key or command to whatever is easier for you, just double-click on the gesture in inventoy to open it.

PHOTOGRAPHER?
——————

To make it easier on photographers who work with models (or if you don’t want to adjust poses through a menu), a multiPoseballs is included. This way you can freely move your model yourself instead of ‘instructing them’ where to place their avartar. The multiPoseball responds to /1 show and /1 hide and allows to toggle the poses by using the pageUp/pageDown keys.

UPDATES:
———-

The spell includes an update script which will check for free upgrades when it is rezzed – to not loose the information of your adjusted poses through resetting/rezzing, you can call for the update manually by typing “/12update” (without quotes) in open chat. As well, you don’t need to check daily yourself, we keep you informed through our mainstore and our blog should a product have received an update: http://chanimations.deviousmind.net/about/updated/

BAD SCULPTIE RENDERING

If you have problems with sculpties seeming rough edged and not properly rezzing – go to Advanced Menu (if it doesn’t show on the top bar, press CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-D to show it), Debug Setting… – type ‘RenderVolumeLODFactor’ (without quotes) and set it to 4.000. It will take a short moment and your sculpties will render smoother when looking at them from a distance! Search the Wiki if you want more info about the RenderVolumeLODFactor.

Last but not least as with everything scripted: Make sure you are in a sim that allows for scripts to run!
