“Rising after a longtimes’ Sleep…..”
Another morning, and slowly the fog dissolves, leaving little drops of dew behind, caressing the velvet petals of the waking rose blossoms… -WakingRoses- gives you a little bit of everything: Magic and Fairytale, Sex-Appeal and Burleque, Romance and Dreams – the rosepetals are animated to open it’s blossom along with 9 different poses and gives you 5 color choices and particle option, and contains an update script for free future upgrades should any occur.
Included you’ll find photography props and poses with the following properties:

DETAILED INFORMATION (please read!)
The rose-blossom is created with sculpted petals and leaves, large enough to hide an avatar inside in its initial states. Included in this set is both a high-prim (55) and low-prim (38) version. Along with the change of its 9 poses, its rosepetals are animated to open the blossom to add a bit of extra magic to your photoshooting or roleplay experience.
If you click the long stem reaching out from underneath the rose (the one branch that is used to hold on when picking ‘twine’ of the pose-menu), you will be given an aditional menu to modify the appearance of your roses:
• choose between 2 ‘velvet’ petal shades, BloodRed and SnowWhite
• choose between 3 ‘wooden’ textures which will give the set a carved appearance,
woodRed, woodAmber, woodenTeal
• add particles to the scenery, or turn them back off
• set permissions who may access the above mentioned options to anyone, group, or owner only. – Default on rez is set to OWNER ONLY.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: with its prim animation you CANNOT shift-copy the prop. If you would like to rezz more than one rose for a photoscene, you will need to rezz each copy from inventory for the animation to work.
The attachments come with (transfer/no copy) settings so you can pass them to your model – or rezz them and position them instead if you’re unsure that they will give it back!
Sit on the rose itself. On first sit a menu pops up allowing you to pick which pose you’d like. By clicking it again when sitting you will receive the menu to change between the poses.
ADJUSTMENT OF POSES:
When you sit, speak /1a in open channel for the adjustment menu (it will only work when sitting on it). ‘Postion’ will allow you to move your avatar more forward, backwards, left or right (X and Y) and of course up and down (Z), if needed ‘Rotation’ menu gives you more options.
The script remembers the avartar custom settings of up to 100 most frequent users who adjusted their positions as long as the spell stays rezzed and the scripts are not reset. Unfortunately it cannot keep the positions when picked up back to inventory and will rez back on default settings – but since the adjustment is easy and quick, this shouldn’t be a problem!
To make it easier on photographers who work with models, a multiPoseball is included. This way you can freely move your model yourself instead of ‘instructing them’ where to place their avartar.
The multiPoseball responds to /1 show and /1 hide and allows to toggle the poses by using the pageUp/pageDown keys.
The rose includes an update script which will check for free upgrades when it is rezzed – to not loose the information of your adjusted poses through resetting/rezzing, you can call for the update manually by typing “/12update” (without quotes) in open chat. As well, you don’t need to check daily yourself, we keep you informed through our mainstore and our blog should a product have received an update: http://chanimations.deviousmind.net/about/updated/
Most textures for this set are custom created for (*chanimations and deviousMind (except leaves/stems used in velvet colors) – if you find them used by anybody else not connected to us, please inform us! Thank you in advance!
BAD SCULPTIE RENDERING or MISSING PRIMS?
If you have problems with sculpties seeming rough edged and not properly rezzing – go to Advanced Menu (if it doesn’t show on the top bar, press CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-D to show it), Debug Setting… – type ‘RenderVolumeLODFactor’ (without quotes) and set it to 4.000. It will take a short moment and your sculpties will render smoother when looking at them from a distance! Search the Wiki if you want more info about the RenderVolumeLODFactor.
If you notice prims missing when moveing your camera closer to an object, check your Debug Settings for the rendermaxNodeSize – standard of the newer clients is 4096, which can be far too little with very detailed objects and lead to prims disappearing. A value of 6000 can safely be used even with an older computer and will solve this problem.
Last but not least as with everything scripted: Make sure you are in a sim that allows for scripts to run! That’s all you need to know – have fun and emerse in the roleplay!
