It’s Halloween time coming – and cause we all love creepy things, we’ve created along with the release of the tent we use as our current (*chanimations VintageCircus mainstore, a bloody psycho-circus tent version as well!

Unlike the circus photoStage, this one is a full build to rezz on the ground and/or include in your sim-structure. It comes in two different version, as ‘clean’ (*TravellingCircus or bloody&dirty (*HalloweenCircus – and if you’d like both together, in a Halloween&TravellingCircus DoublePack.

DETAILED INFORMATION

“HalloweenCircus” takes care of the darker side of entertainment of our VintageCircus series and offers the perfect background blend to all the current and future sets availabe – or simply as build on its own! The build itself does not contain any poses, and is noticably smaller than our previously released circus photostage, which makes it well suitable to stay rezzed on groundlevel. – We’ve included you a big, black watchdo…— well… SPIDER. *smirks* – And for the right circus-feeling of the TravellingCircus, we’ve included a pidgeon and some balloons to rezz around the tent – or just hold in hand!

The lights in the roof of the circus tent react on touch and can be turned on/off by clicking them. Please keep in mind: To see glow and light, it requires for at least ‘basic shaders’ and ‘nearby local lights’ being enabled in preferences – if lights on/off still doesn’t work (as with everything scripted) make sure you are in a sim that allows for scripts to run!

FOOTPRINT
————

The tent itself is built on a footprint of 24x24m, with parts of the overlapping roof and ropes tied to the ground it extends to approximately 35x35m meter though. Height is an estimated 35m. You can grab a demo-footprint at our mainstore to take home and rezz to see if this works for you – the little lip is where the entrance of the tent is!

Other Information:

As phantom parts cannot be linked to non-phantom parts, each of the above versions comes in an unlinked group of tent and curtains (2 pieces) – so make sure you have them selected as well when moving/rotating the tent for final placement – You do this by keeping [Shift] key pressed, then right-click choose ‘edit’ on the curtains, and (with still pressed shift key) right-click choose ‘edit’ on the tent. When both are highlighted with the blue/yellow lines, you can let go of [shift] and everything moves as a group now. – in worst case, re-rezz from inventory to go back to the original alignment.

All curtains are included as well separate, that way you can rezz the tent version you like to keep, and simply replace the curtains however your mood ;-) A complete plain curtain version is included for those cases where you’d like to build your own sign to go above the entrance – have fun being creative!!

The textures for this set are custom created for (*chanimations and deviousMind (except the spiderwebs and those textures with the pidgeon which are bought) – if you find them used by anybody else not connected to us, please inform us! Thank you in advance!

BAD SCULPTIE RENDERING or MISSING PRIMS?
————————————————-

If you have problems with sculpties seeming rough edged and not properly rezzing – go to Advanced Menu (if it doesn’t show on the top bar, press CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-D to show it), Debug Setting… – type ‘RenderVolumeLODFactor’ (without quotes) and set it to 4.000. It will take a short moment and your sculpties will render smoother when looking at them from a distance! Search the Wiki if you want more info about the RenderVolumeLODFactor.

If you notice prims missing when moveing your camera closer to an object, check your Debug Settings for the rendermaxNodeSize – standard of the newer clients is 4096, which can be far too little with very detailed objects and lead to prims disappearing. A value of 6000 can safely be used even with an older computer and will solve this problem.

-ZebraRide- can be seen as ‘part 2 of the carousel saga’ *chuckles* – it was designed to work perfectly with the poses you might have already from (*chanimations’ -CarouselHorse- set, simply use the multiposeball now with this new set or move the ‘old’ saddle on the ‘new’ zebra. The set contains photography props and poses with the following properties:

ADJUSTMENT OF POSES:
————————-

The saddle is your poseball. On first sit please note the chatmessage the saddle is giving you – as well, a menu pops up allowing you to pick which pose you’d like. After that, you only click the saddle again, and you’ll receive the menu to change between the poses.

To meet all different avartar sizes, an easy and intuitively to use adjustment-menu allows you to move the positioning of your avartar – height, rotation, everything! When you sit, speak /1a in open channel for the adjustment menu (it will only work for the avatar sitting on it). ‘Postion’ will allow you to move your avartar more forward, backwards, left or right (X and Y axis) and of course up and down (Z axis), if needed ‘Rotation’ menu gives you more options.

The script remembers the avartar custom settings of up to 100 most frequent users who adjusted their positions as long as the horse stays rezzed and the scripts are not reset. Unfortunately it cannot keep the positions when picked up back to inventory and will rez back on default settings – but since the adjustment is easy and quick, this shouldn’t be a problem.

PHOTOGRAPHER?
——————

To make it easier on photographers who work with models, a multiPoseball is included. This way you can freely move your model yourself instead of ‘instructing them’ where to place their avartar.

The multiPoseball responds to /1 show and /1 hide and allows to toggle the poses by using the pageUp/pageDown keys.

ZEBRA:
——–

The ZebraRide comes in an unlinked group of zebra and saddle – so it shows as one combined object in your inventory. This is to allow you more flexibility for pictures without a saddle, combination of the low-prim saddle with the high-prim zebra, use of the CarouselHorse saddle if you have it and so on… Just make sure you have both components selected in edit mode when you intent to move it together in a group! You do this by keeping [Shift] key pressed, then right-click choose ‘edit’ on the saddle, and (with still pressed shift key) right-click choose ‘edit’ on the zebra. When both are highlighted with the blue/yellow lines, you can let go of [shift] and everything moves as a group now. – in worst case, re-rezz from inventory to go back to the original alignment.

By clicking the ZebraRide, you receive a menu allowing you to chose between a ‘real zebra’ in black/white, black zebra or a blue zebra all in the sense of a ‘truely carousel kitsch version’. *winks*

As well depending on your personal taste or what type of picture you’d like to take, you can hide the feathers of the zebra and choose between *red*, *yellow* or *blue* colorparts/feathers/saddle.

‘Options’ menu allows you to set permissions who may control the color menu of the horse, it allows for owner only, group, or public use. Default on rezzing is set to OWNER. The use of the pose-engine is not effected by this selection. Also, all scripts run as MONO.

Along with this new set, the -CarouselHorse- has received an update in it’s menu options, so if you have the other set already, please get your free upgrade by rezzing the horse or if it is rezzed already, chatting /12update.

The diamond fan come with ‘transfer’ setting so you can pass it to your model – or if you’re unsure they’ll give it back, rezz them instead and position them. on click, it allows you to change colors to red, yellow or blue to match the colors of the zebra.

The rose-blossom is created with sculpted petals and leaves, large enough to hide an avatar inside in its initial states. Included in this set is both a high-prim (55) and low-prim (38) version. Along with the change of its 9 poses, its rosepetals are animated to open the blossom to add a bit of extra magic to your photoshooting or roleplay experience.

If you click the long stem reaching out from underneath the rose (the one branch that is used to hold on when picking ‘twine’ of the pose-menu), you will be given an aditional menu to modify the appearance of your roses:

• choose between 2 ‘velvet’ petal shades, BloodRed and SnowWhite
• choose between 3 ‘wooden’ textures which will give the set a carved appearance,
woodRed, woodAmber, woodenTeal
• add particles to the scenery, or turn them back off
• set permissions who may access the above mentioned options to anyone, group, or owner only. – Default on rez is set to OWNER ONLY.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: with its prim animation you CANNOT shift-copy the prop. If you would like to rezz more than one rose for a photoscene, you will need to rezz each copy from inventory for the animation to work.

The floor-pentagram is surrounded by sculpted books, skulls and candles. The candles are created with digitally drawn particle flames – no transparency halos or unreal-looking fire but exactly that flickering you’d expect to see! Along with the change of poses, the prims of the spell are animated and will add the extra magic to your photoshooting or roleplay experience.

Beyond that, depending on your personal taste or light surrounding, you have the following additional options when clicking the open book that lies outside of the pentagram circle:

• turn glow and lighting effects of the base on/off
• add particles to the spellcasting, or turn them back off
• show or hide the outer magic sphere surrounding your character in the final pose states
• set permissions who may access the above mentioned options to anyone, group, or owner only. – Default on rez is set to OWNER ONLY.

Please keep in mind: To see glow and light, it requires for at least ‘basic shaders’ and ‘nearby local lights’ being enabled in preferences – ‘at least’ cause Windlight is obviously more picture taking fun ;-) )

Our evil furniture was originally inspired by roleplay – and maybe this little bit of black humor that dwells within *smirks*. So here’s part two of the saga, ‘St.Andrew’s Present’ – which offers you beside a grin some versatile use either as photoprop, as furniture piece, or as part of your roleplay environment. The cross comes in two versions, one for standing in the room, the other for being hang on the wall. Aside from that: Not much to say this time! Only the usual things we’d like to sum up for those who are new to our products:

BAD SCULPTIE RENDERING or MISSING PRIMS?

If you have problems with sculpties seeming rough edged and not properly rezzing – go to Advanced Menu (if it doesn’t show on the top bar, press CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-D to show it), Debug Setting… – type ‘RenderVolumeLODFactor’ (without quotes) and set it to 4.000. It will take a short moment and your sculpties will render smoother when looking at them from a distance! Search the Wiki if you want more info about the RenderVolumeLODFactor.

If you notice prims missing when moveing your camera closer to an object, check your Debug Settings for the rendermaxNodeSize – standard of the newer clients is 4096, which can be far too little with very detailed objects and lead to prims disappearing. A value of 6000 can safely be used even with an older computer and will solve this problem.
