Evil LibraryShelves

======
-!dM Evil LibraryShelves-
some truely evil furniture!
======

Our evil furniture was inspired by the need to have some less obvious cage than you would usually find – and perfectly blend into the surrounding. So the Evil LibraryShelves were born, and offer you versatile use either as photoprop, as furniture piece, or as part of your roleplay environment. As always, with high detailed textures!

The set contains photography props and poses with the following properties:

4 POSES (no mod/no transfer):
——————————–

• (* tied-in-closet (spreadEagle)
• (* tied-in-closet (armsBehind)
• (* tied-in-closet (armsCentered)
• (* tied-in-closet (sit)

All POSES are static, allow head movement and come with ‘copy’ rights so you can put them into your posestands or make own poseball arrangements.

PROPS (detailed info to each after listing):
———————————————-

• !dM – Evil LibraryShelves (no modify/no transfer)
• !dM – Evil LibraryCage (no modify/no transfer)
• (*chanimations – !dM Evil LibraryShelf multiPoseball (no modify/no transfer)

=====================================
DETAILED INFORMATION (please read!)
=====================================

PRIMCOUNT
————

The Evil LibraryShelves come as an unlinked group of ‘LibraryShelves’ and ‘LibraryCage’ in a total of 24 PRIMS (12 for each part) and shows as one combined object in your inventory. The sliding door part rezzes by default in ‘closed’ state.
Make sure you have both components selected in edit mode when you intent to move them together as a group! You do this by keeping [Shift] key pressed, then right-click choose ‘edit’ on the shelves, and (with still pressed shift key) click on the cage part. When both are highlighted with the blue/yellow lines, you can let go of [shift] and everything moves as a group now. – in worst case, re-rezz from inventory to go back to the original (closed) alignment.

ACCESS and SECRECY
———————–

The LibraryShelves’ secret door opens on touch of the books and front facing – but to decide who may and may not access, it allows you to set permissions – by clicking the lower end of the key which lies on the shelves, you receive a menu allowing you to chose owner, group, or public use. Rezzing default of permission is ‘owner only’. – Use of the pose engine is NOT effected by this selection.

The key-menu as well allows you to pick a solid wood backside of the shelves, or a transparent ‘glass’ appearance to see through them inside.
All scripts run in MONO.

NO POSEBALLS
—————–

Once the secret door and bars are opened, sit on the closet itself. On first sit a menu pops up allowing you to pick which pose you’d like. By clicking the closet when sitting you will receive the menu to change between the poses. And you’ll be surprised… the chains will change with your position to match up with your suspension.

ADJUSTMENT OF POSES:
————————–

When you sit, speak /1a in open channel for the adjustment menu (it will only work when sitting on it). ‘Postion’ will allow you to move your avatar more forward, backwards, left or right (X and Y) and of course up and down (Z), if needed ‘Rotation’ menu gives you more options.

The script remembers the avartar custom settings of up to 100 most frequent users who adjusted their positions as long as the LibraryShelves rezzed and the scripts are not reset. Unfortunately it cannot keep the positions when picked up back to inventory and will rez back on default settings – but since the adjustment is easy and quick, this shouldn’t be a problem!

ANIMATED CHAINS:
——————–

There is tons of particle chains out there, but we decided against them for a better result when using it as a photoprop – This does unfortunately also include that with the amount of avatars out there there will be no 100%-fits-all solution – if you want to be exact for fotography purposes, you might need to adjust your shape slightly and make for example your arms, legs or torso a bit longer/shorter if you can’t get it right through the pose adjustment alone. The prims themselves cannot be moded as their size and location is stored in the animation frames. PLEASE TEST in our mainstore if you are uncertain if everything works fine with your avatar measures.

And since I know it’s easy to forget:
Keep the /1a command in mind to adjust your avatar position!

Extreme lag can influence the performance of the prim animation, so if you change pose but the chains don’t follow, select the pose again through the menu.

PHOTOGRAPHER?
——————

To make it easier on photographers who work with models, a multiPoseball is included. This way you can freely move your model yourself instead of ‘instructing them’ where to place their avartar. (The model will have to use the poseengine of the shelves though to trigger the animation of the chains.)

The multiPoseball responds to /1 show and /1 hide and allows to toggle the poses by using the pageUp/pageDown keys.

UPDATES:
———-

The shelves includes an update script which will check for free upgrades when it is rezzed – to not loose the information of your adjusted poses through resetting/rezzing, you can call for the update manually by typing “/12update” (without quotes) in open chat.

And as with everything scripted: Make sure you are in a sim that allows for scripts to run!
That’s all you need to know – have fun and emerse in the roleplay!

Special thanks go to Nikodemus and Druuna for inspirations and scripting support!

TEXTURES:
———–

The textures for this set (except skull) are custom made for (*chanimations and deviousMind – if you find them used by anybody else not connected to us, please inform us! Thank you in advance!

BAD SCULPTIE RENDERING?
—————————-

If you have problems with sculpties seeming rough edged and not properly rezzing – go to Advanced Menu (if it doesn’t show on the top bar, press CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-D to show it), Debug Setting… – type ‘RenderVolumeLODFactor’ (without quotes) and set it to 4.000. It will take a short moment and your sculpties will render smoother when looking at them from a distance! Search the Wiki if you want more info about the RenderVolumeLODFactor.

(*chanimations tutorial – ‘DurgaDevi’

This little post-processing tutorial will answer one essential question: How to turn 2 arms into 8! This is the final image we’re going to create:

durga_tutorial_Picture_256x512

And here’s how to do it! Please take note, in the following I’ll use the method of taking pictures in ‘depth mode’ – you can as well take the images in front of a greenscreen or bluescreen as we did in the CabaretBeauty tutorial. Using either of both methods has advantages and disadvantages, always keep that in mind!

I’ll start with advantages for each:

GreenScreen is something that’s portable and you’re not dependent on rezzing anywhere. As well, you have all freedom for a final composition of the picture, as you pick the background yourself.

Depth Mode allows you to use it in any situation (unless your computer crashes on it) – and when it comes to the overlaying work as will be described in the follow, it is extremely forgiving when it comes to edges, as there won’t be any fuzzyness and you don’t need to be as precise with setting things free as you need with greenScreen background – the background colors are all the same on all layers anyhow ;-)

But there’s also Disadvantages for each:

Depth Mode does not display ANY prims that are partially transparent – be it texturewise or prim wise which makes it extremely difficult to catch exact lines of hair for example! (this will not have any bearing on our work with DurgaDevi, luckily, which is why all attachments in this set are full prims so they show in the depth shot ;-) – and for partially missing hair in a cut-out, we’ve covered that with the ‘advantage’ section of depth mode already: all layers are the same anyhow, and the lowest layer has no cropping! )

GreenScreen is a royal pain in the a** to get out of half-transparencies. (like hair fringes!) – if you want to work with a solid background color to use the magic wand, you should pick a color that is close to your final background image that you will put underneath our 8-armed Durga. For example, if you want to put her in a forest, take greenScreen. If you plan to put blue clouded sky or water into the background, rather use a blueScreen. By doing that, the ‘un-clean’ parts in semi-transparent areas of your SL shot won’t be as bright obvious.

And well, here you go!

======
-DurgaDevi-
An AsianMasala Set
======

Many stories and myths twine around Hindu Gods and Godesses, and whoever you will ask, there is a little differing detail here or there, or a name changed, or a few more colors added to the story – all the same will be though that there is a divine feminine force en par to each of the masculine powers. One of them being Durga, who represents the warrior aspect of the Divine Mother. Proudly she rides her mount, sometimes shown as a tiger, sometimes as a lion.

-DurgaDevi- is dedicated to the colorful stories of Indian Mythology, and contains the following photography props and poses:

4 POSES (no mod/no transfer):
——————————–

• (*durga (1)
• (*durga (2)
• (*durga (3)
• (*durga (4)

All POSES are static and come with ‘copy’ rights so you can put them into your posestands or make own poseball arrangements. To be able to achieve the 8 armed effect which we’ll explain in our tutorial, these 4 poses are equal in their center and vary only in the hand/arm positioning.

The pack includes the poses as single animations and they are included with a pose-engine in saddle of the tiger.

And last, to make it easier on photographers who work with models, a multiPoseball is included. This way you can freely move your model yourself instead of ‘instructing them’ where to place their avartar. The multiPoseball responds to /1 show and /1 hide and allows to toggle the poses by using the pageUp/pageDown keys.

ADJUSTMENT OF POSES:
————————–
The TigerSaddle is your poseballs. On first sit please note the chatmessage it gives you – as well, a menu pops up allowing you to pick which pose you’d like to start with. After that, you only click the saddle again, and you’ll receive the menu to change between the poses.

To meet all different avartar sizes, an easy and intuitively to use adjustment-menu allows you to move the positioning of your avartar – height, rotation, everything! When you sit, speak /1a in open channel for the adjustment menu (it will only work for the avatar sitting on it). ‘Postion’ will allow you to move your avartar more forward, backwards, left or right (X and Y axis) and of course up and down (Z axis), if needed ‘Rotation’ menu gives you more options.

The script runs in MONO and remembers the avartar custom settings of up to 100 most frequent users who adjusted their positions as long as the tiger stays rezzed and the scripts are not reset. Unfortunately it cannot keep the positions when picked up into inventory and will rez back on default settings – but since the adjustment is easy and quick, this shouldn’t be a problem!

PROPS (detailed info to each after listing):
———————————————–

High and Low-prim version of the tiger is included:
• (*chanimations – Durga’s Tiger (no mod/no transfer) – 131prims
• (*chanimations – Durga’s Tiger (LP) (no mod/no transfer) – 84prims

(transfer/no mod/no copy) for all following:
——————————
• (*Durga FlowerMala (chest)
• (*BraceletBangles (left forearm)
• (*BraceletBangles (right forearm)
• (*durga(1) – ConchShell (left hand)
• (*durga(2) – Bow&Arrow (left hand)
• (*durga(2) – Scimitar (right hand)
• (*durga(3) – LotusFlower (left hand)
• (*durga(3) – Trident (right hand)
• (*durga(4) – Chakram (right hand)
• (*durga(4) – GoldenMace (left hand)

While the tiger has to stay with its owner, all the attachments come with ‘transfer’ setting so you can pass them to the model – or if you’re unsure they’ll give them back to you, rezz them instead and position them (but keep in mind, rezzing will need a lot of free prims on your land).

The ‘weapons’ are non-scripted and only for decorative purpose, only the Chakra has a particle script in it, which you can turn off and on by clicking on the attachment – it rezzes with particles by default.

Keep the /1a chat command in mind, in case your avatar floats above the saddle or is sunk into the tiger!

There’s no need to use the items in this specific order if you prefer a different set-up for your shot!

If you would like to read more about Durga and the stories surrounding her, a good start is the wiki at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Durga – and I am sure you can find another 3 million different stories by browsing the web ;-)))

UPDATES:
———-
The tiger includes an update script which will check for free upgrades when it is rezzed – to not loose the information of your adjusted poses through resetting/rezzing, you can call for the update manually by typing “/12update” (without quotes) in open chat. (You will find information in our store or the discussions of our flickr group whenever an item is updated.)

-PekingOpera- is available in different color packs (please see attached image for overview), as well as three different editions – please make sure you pick the one that meets your needs. Here a short overview:

———————————————————————————————–
PHOTOGRAPHERs’ edition that will allow you to work with models:
all poses copy/no transfer,

EXTENDED edition – you are the model and want it all:
all poses (copy/no transfer),
all attachments (copy/no transfer),
hair: !dM “PekingOpera” JewelryHair (copy/no transfer),
skin: (*chanimations pekingOpera (copy/no mod/no transfer)
———————————————————————————————–
Please see our DEMOS in the store for skin, hair and attachment sizes.

And as always – in the following all the detailed listing and important information about this set of photography props and poses:

4 POSES (no mod/no transfer):
——————————–

• (*pekingOpera
• (*pekingOpera (openLeft)
• (*pekingOpera (centered)
• (*pekingOpera (openRight)

All POSES are static and come with ‘copy’ rights so you can put them into your posestands or make own poseball arrangements.

The pack includes the poses as single animations and in a multiPoseball
which responds to /1 show and /1 hide and allows to toggle the
poses by using the pageUp/pageDown keys.

PROPS (detailed info to each after listing, properties corresponding to pack choice):
———————————————————————————————
• (*PekingOpera – HeadJewelry (chin)
• (*PekingOpera – FingerOrnament – HANDSIZE 10 (right) (no modify!)
• (*PekingOpera – FingerOrnament – HANDSIZE 10 (left) (no modify!)
• (*PekingOpera – RibbonBracelet (forearm right)
• (*PekingOpera – RibbonBracelet (forearm left)
• (*PekingOpera – Anklet (lower leg left)
• (*PekingOpera – Anklet (lower leg right)

Includes attachments in all pekingOpera colors available

Additional in PERSONAL edition:
———————————-
• (all the above listed in COPY and NO TRANSFER)
• !dM “PekingOpera” JewelryHair (copy/no transfer)

Additional in EXTENDED edition:
———————————-
• (all the above listed in COPY and NO TRANSFER)
• !dM “PekingOpera” JewelryHair (copy/no transfer)
• (*chanimations pekingOpera skin (copy/no mod/no transfer)

First and foremost:
The size of the finger ornaments CANNOT be changed – you have to be able to mod your shape and change your handsize to 10. (Menu: Edit -> Appearance -> Torso -> Hand Size)
With the alignment of the very detailed build there is no room for much size difference, rotation or different placement. As well the attachments CANNOT fit in regular relaxed handpose, but they will in combination with the poses.
(There is no larger build offered in the set as once you start makeing the build larger, the result is oversized hands that appear unnaturally out of proportion to the body.)

All body attachments correspond to the color you picked – available colors are CHERRY (soft red), SAFRAN (soft yellow), FRANGIPANI (soft pink), LILAC (soft purple), IRIS (soft blue), MINT (soft green) and LIQUORICE (soft black). (Please see the attached image for an overview on the colors – all other color sets are offered on xStreet as single as well as multicolor pack)

overview_Editions_1024x512

Attachments show as ‘no modify’ in your inventory, but their size can be adjusted through a touch menu – please read included notecard for information regarding the resize script!
As stated before – the finger ornaments are the exception. They really are no mod.

And as with everything scripted: Make sure you are in a sim that allows for scripts to run!

SET SPECIFIC:
—————

Specific for PHOTOGRAPHER edition:
All attachments come with ‘transfer’ setting so you can pass them to your model – or if you’re unsure they’ll give them back to you, rezz them instead and position them – this will require a good amount of free prims, keep this in mind. (Also unless you have deleted the re-size scripts in the attachments, you might want to consider passing the explaination of the functions as well to them to avoid any mistakes!)

• Specific for PERSONAL and EXTENDED edition:
All attachments come in ‘copy’, you can mod the sizes through resize-script. Please ALWAYS make a copy of your items before you mod anything, and when you have the right size for your AV, delete the scripts! How you resizes is explained in the included notecard.
Aside from the pekingOpera JewelryHair, the packs include as well the headpiece, attaching to chin. You can wear this with your own hairstyles – keep in mind that it is by far easier to delete prims out of the hair you want to wear to match the headDress instead of trying to make the head dress fit on all your possible hairstyles.
The base haircolor of the JewelryHair is black, ornaments/flowers matching the color of your set choice.

• Specific for EXTENDED edition:
The pekingOpera skin is a pale skintone to resemble a white powdered body. The facial make-up color is corresponding to your set color. The skin has little cherryblossoms tattoo combined with traditional Chinese symbos on the back of its neck and will stay exclusive only for this set. (and in case you wonder – the symbols say ‘peking opera’ in chinese)

That’s all you need to know, so now show others the grace of Asian performance dance!

Our new series of photostages will offer you quick access to whichever world you’re looking for… It doesn’t matter anymore if you have your shootings at your home sim or simply a public sandbox – Make the sky your stage. Whenever. Whereever!

As with all our products, with much love for the detail, high quality custom textures and allowing you as much flexibility as possible!

PhotoStage
======

‘FetishCabaret’ is the stageing addition – as the name says – to (*chanimations FetishCabaret series and offers a perfect background blend to all the current and future sets availabe. The photostage itself does not contain any poses, but the basic parts to set the atmosphere are build in, such as a performance stage with curtains, spotlights and screen. And as a little extra, some potted plants – everything’s nicer with a little bit of green!

Included is a HUD to turn the lights and spotslights on/off as well as open and close the curtain. As well you can make 3 of the outside walls transparent (seen only from outside) to allow you easier navigation with the camera should you need an agle close to the wall. The HUD comes as copy for yourself, and one with transfer rights to pass to a friend. If the HUD doesn’t respond, make sure you’re close enough to the stage (means within the skybox) and beyond that, as with everything scripted: Make sure you are in a sim that allows for scripts to run!

The FetishCabaret photostage is available in two color packs, **RUST** and in **BLACK**

PRIMCOUNTS
————–

We try to keep our photostages as low-prim as possible – so they are stages, and not replacement for homes and sim-decorations (unless you don’t mind the fact the outside shape is not quite what you expect from a great cabaret theater). Please keep this in mind.

Anyhow, here the stats:

FetishCabaret – Photostage is build on a basis of 30×30 squaremeters, and approx. 15m height – it comes in a combined group of two objects – the main build, and all the phantom parts (“FetishCabaret PhotoStage <phantomparts>” — due to SL linking restrictions you cannot link phantom with ‘solid’ – but to be able to use the stage, you’ll need the spotlights phantom). If you want to move/rotate both parts together in the alignment I made, make sure you have both selected in edit mode, this will save you time of re-adjusting! You do this by keeping [Shift] key pressed, then right-click choose ‘edit’ on the first radial context menu, and (with still pressed shift key) right-click choose ‘edit’ on the second part. When both are highlighted with the blue/yellow lines, you can let go of [shift] and everything moves as a group now. – If something goes wrong – just re-rezz from inventory to go back to the original alignment.

Alltogether, the stage consists of 29 prims for the main build, plus 16 prims for the phantom parts. Makes a total of 45 prims.

It is up to you if you’d like to rezz the HUD rather to be used similar to a light-switch instead of attaching it, it has 4 prims additional.

======
-CabaretAudience-
Fetish Cabaret SET 16
======

-CabaretAudience- is all about ‘in front of the curtains’ – and the last needed piece for those who’d like to stage a complete performance with all aspects. – To match up with our FetishCabaret Photostages in rust and black, the set comes in both lighter and darker wood. And with that, allows you for many combination options. It belongs to our photoseries, but might as well prove useful in ‘real’ SL shows and performances. The set includes photography props and poses with the following properties:

4 (5) POSES (no mod/no transfer):
——————————–

• (* audienceFemale
• (* audienceFemale (short arms)
• (* audienceFemale (applause)
• (* audienceMale
• (* audienceMale (applause)

All POSES come with ‘copy’ rights so you can put them into your posestands or make own poseball arrangements.

The pack includes the poses as single animations and in two multiPoseballs (MALE and FEMALE) which respond to /1 show and /1 hide and allow to toggle the poses by using the pageUp/pageDown keys. These Poseballs are not needed with the chairs, but including them makes it easier in some cases for photographers who work with models to adjust their positioning.

POSES-SPECIAL:
——————

You sit on the chair itself. On first sit a menu pops up allowing you to pick which pose you’d like. After that, you only click the chair again, and you’ll receive the menu to change between the poses. You might notice on first sitting it is running your AO sit (or default SL sit if your AO sit is turned off). We included this option so you have one spot in the adjustment menu to save your AO sitting adjustments if you make any. See more about the pose adjustments in the next section! – Including this option allows you for even more flexibility with staging your audience, unfortunately the pose-engine seems to be not very happy to go from our included animations back to the AO – in most cases it requires hopping off/on the chair again or restarting the AO. (I believe it might be connected to animation priority levels)

The clapping animated poses are included for a more ‘alive’ picture result, and to allow its use for a real SL performance if you’d like to add a little fun-aspect for the audience.

POSE-ADJUSTMENT:
———————

An easy and intuitively to use adjustment-menu allows you to move the positioning of your avartar – height, rotation, everything! Speak /1a in open channel for the adjustment menu. ‘Postion’ will allow you to move your avartar more forward, backwards, left or right (X and Y axis) and of course up and down (Z axis), if needed ‘Rotation’ menu gives you more options.

And that’s all YOU have to remember, from there on the script does the work and remembers the avartar custom settings of the 50 most frequent users who adjusted their positions as long as chair and vanity stay rezzed and the scripts are not reset. Unfortunately it cannot keep the positions when picked up back to inventory and will rez back on default settings – but since the adjustment is easy and quick, this shouldn’t be a problem *grins*.

PROPS (all no modify/no transfer):
————————————-

• (*CabaretTable **WOOD** – 2 PRIMS
• (*CabaretAudience Chair **CREME** – 8 PRIMS each chair
• (*CabaretAudience Chair **RUST**
• (*CabaretAudience Chair **DARKRED**

• (*CabaretTable **DARKWOOD**
• (*CabaretAudience Chair **CREME DARKWOOD**
• (*CabaretAudience Chair **RUST DARKWOOD**
• (*CabaretAudience Chair **DARKRED DARKWOOD**

And again here the little reminder: keep the /1a chat command for the adjustment menu in mind to adjust your avatar position! As long as the chairs are rezzed and scripts not reset, these settings will be remembered for 50 avatars. (I think even 100 with the MONO script now, but let’s play safe and assume 50. ;-)) )

As with everything scripted: Make sure you are in a sim that allows for scripts to run!

That’s all you need to know, so from here on…. have fun and lean back.
